Today's Sightings.
Rushy Great watching here, the three pairs of Avocets (plus an extra adult this morning) have eight young between them all doing very well. The Oystercatcher chick is all but full grown and 18 Black Tailed Godwits were roosting as normal on the top pond.

Two broods of Avocet
The Rushy pen AVOCET NEWS at 0830 this morning a scan of the three nesting pairs revealed that one pair (back right hand island) had four chicks and were feeding in the shallows. A second pair (front left hand island) had hatched two young which strayed a

Rushy Reports this morning of egg shells being carried away from one of the three Avocet nest but no sightings as yet of the young. The male American Green winged Teal was seen at the back of the lower pool with two Euro Teal. There were 32 Black tailed G
