It's still fairly slow on the spring migrant front, with no warming air flows bringing a large influx of birds. By this time last year we had recorded House Martin, Sedge Warbler, Yellow Wagtail, Common Whitethroat, Black-winged Stilt(!), Cuckoo and Reed Warbler. Still, we have that excitement to come.

A few reports from today included singing Corn Bunting from the Hale Hide. Five species of raptor including Peregrine and Marsh Harriers. Some nice groups of Black-tailed Godwit and Curlew as well as around 100 Avocet.
