Today's sightings
Rushy Hide & Peng Observatory
All 120 Bewick's Swans were on the Rushy for this morning's feed. A single Redshank was amongst the Lapwing flock and duck included 121 Pochard.

Robbie Garnett Hide
The Spotted Redshank was on the Tack Piece feeding amongst the Golden Plover flock, which numbered 300+ birds. Also of note were 2 Oystercatcher, 20 Redshank, 27 Ruff and 180 Curlew.

Holden Tower
A Merlin flew down the seawall towards the Zeiss Hide early morning. The flock of Wigeon near the tower on the pool in front of the Knott Hide numbered 120 birds. The Red-breasted Goose was on the Dumbles with the Barnacle flock.

South Lake Hides
Just 4 Avocet were present this morning, numbers are fluctuating each day with the weather. Other waders included 122 Black-tailed Godwit, 17 Snipe and a single Redshank with around 1000 Lapwing. The deep lake held 59 Pochard and 40+ Tufted Duck along with a few Gadwall, Teal and Shoveler.
