With c1600 Whooper Swan still present and upto 2500 Pink-footed Goose around, the reserve is currently full of wildfowl which will start to slowly depart over the next several weeks. A Barn Owl was again seen late afternoon and the almost resident 3 Peregrines were as usual to be seen sitting around on the fenceposts on the lookout for the next meal, which normally is Teal!
