Speaking of identification conundrums, an adult Yellow-legged Gull was reported. The bird obviously looked a shade or two paler than nearby adult Lesser black-backed Gulls but no detail has been recorded of the birds primary (wing) pattern. Four Marsh Harrier, 2 Peregrine, 2 Common Buzzard, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk by midday.
