Three new Avocet chicks were out today. Poor weather and Peregrine predation are serious risk factors for these birds. The Peregrine was in action this morning but looking for bigger prey. Six Common Buzzard were seen, 2 Kestrel and 2 Marsh Harrier. The Green Sandpiper showed well from the Swan Link Hide this morning. Water Rail from the Ron Barker Hide yesterday.
Tawny Owl showed well near the owl box by the Kingfisher Hide.
