A brief report. A hail covered reserve early on before melting away. Don't be fooled by the warmth of the sun, it's chilly in the hides!
Thousands of assorted wildfowl as in the recent reports.
The usual raptors too with 3 Peregrine, Marsh Harrier, 2 Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.
Kingfisher showed from the Ron Barker and (unusually) Kingfisher Hides. Three Little Grebe along Boat House Sluice seen from the Ron Barker Hide.
Just over 60 species of wild bird on the reserve at the moment.
