Café kitchen closure

From 8–17 September, our café kitchen will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, our front-of-house will remain open, offering a selection of cakes and ice cream, sandwiches, and drinks. You will also be able to visit our kiosks by the play areas.

Cuckoo Again

Cuckoo calling along the Nature Trail today, always good to hear. Common Whitethroats singing there too.

A small influx of Black-tailed Godwit with 55 birds. Other waders included the breeding Avocets (a few young present), Lapwings, Oystercatchers, Redshanks and Ringed Plovers, as well as Little Ringed Plover and Green Sandpiper.

Raptors included female Marsh Harrier, 3 Common Buzzard and Kestrel.

Post breeding groups included 10+ Long-tailed Tit, 25 Starling with some juveniles and 17 Shoveler.
