This juvenile Cuckoo (with caterpillar) has been hanging around for the past few days, generally seen perched on posts.
Waders so far included Greenshank, Green Sandpiper, 9 Ruff, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 65 Black-tailed Godwit and 10+ Common Snipe.
Two Kingfishers from the Ron Barker Hide this morning.
A Tawny Owl was showing well mid morning near the Kingfisher Hide.
At least one Marsh Harrier this morning, 2 Sparrowhawk, 2 Common Buzzard and Kestrel.
The next few days look very interesting weatherwise. If a rare tern arrives you heard it here first...
