Cuckoo still
The Cuckoo is still being seen from Ron Barker hide, on Saturday it was on view on and off most of the day but a bit distant at the back of Vinson's Pool in a large willow bush feeding on Caterpillars, it was also seen today Sunday. other sightings include 2 Little Egrets from Harrier hide, 5 Little ringed Plover (2 ad & 3 juveniles) and up to 50 Black tailed Godwit including many in breeding plumage. Lots of young birds can be seen around the reserve including Long tailed Tits and Treecreeper with young today.
