Hunting Peregrines
Three Peregrines active this morning. The adult female caught a female Wigeon and proceeded to pluck it while still fully alive... not for the faint hearted. After she had finished her fill the adult male and young male came into eat.
Waders included 800+ Lapwing, 60+ Ruff, 9 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Ringed Plover and probable Golden Plover over.
More activity along the Nature Trail near/from the Janet Kear Hide with 2 Lesser Redpoll and 4 Siskin (2 male & 2 female).
Barn Owls morning and afternoon.
