Latest Sightings

Despite heavy showers over the last couple of days an influx in Pink Footed Geese activity continues with 1000+ being seen over the site. A good place to catch a view of them is from the discovery hide. They can often be seen at the back of the main mere. Common Sandpiper (1), Snipe (2), Wigeon (3) and Shovelers (6) have also be seen on the main mere.

While over at the Gordon Taylor hide 100+ Black Tailed Godwits were seen on Wednesday.

At the Ron Barker hide, Marsh Harriers are showing well with 5 recorded on Wednesday. A Kingfisher was also seen from Ron Barker on the same day.
