It's a sunny start to the week here at Martin Mere with plenty of wildlife to be seen. Over the weekend 2 Kingfishers were from Ron Barker along with Skylarks, Cetti's Warblers, Linnets and Stonechats. Several different birds of prey were seen including a male and female Marsh harrier, Kestrel and a Hobby. Across the Mere we have lots of Black Headed Gull Chicks - some still small and fluffy and others a bit bigger. There are also lots of garden birds to be seen from Janet Kear including, Chaffinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Greenfinch, Chiffchaff and Black Cap.
