Latest Sightings
On a very windy day there are still plenty of birds to be seen.
On the Mere today there are Cormorants, Oystercatchers, Lapwings, Shelducks with their young, Shovelers and large numbers of Black-headed Gulls with many of their young now leaving the nests.
2 Bittern were seen from the Harrier Hide in the reeds where you may also see Great Crested Grebe and Little Grebe.
On Woodend Marsh recently Teal, Redshank, Green Sandpiper and Mediteranean Gulls have been seen.
At our Ron Barker Hide Marsh Harriers have been hunting, Great White Egret, Cattle egret and Kingfisher have been spotted.
