Latest Sightings
On the Mere today you can see Oystercatchers, Lapwings, a couple of Pink-footed Geese, Common Tern, Juvenile Mediteranean Gulls, Juvenile Shelduck and many Canada Geese with their young.
At the Ron Barker Hide 4 Spoonbills were spotted, Great White Egret, Cattle Egret, Little Egret, Green Sandpipers and Marsh Harrier can be regularly seen.
In other hides Great Crested Grebe and Little Grebes with their young, Heron, Teal, Gadwall, Black-tailed Godwit and Bittern have been spotted. So a good variety of birds, ducks and geese to be seen at this time of year.
