On the Mere today there have been plenty of bird sightings of Teal, Shoveler, Ruff, Cormorants, Grey Heron, Black-tailed Godwit, Common Tern, Greenshank, Great White Egret and Juvenile Goldfinches feeding on the wild flower seedheads.
From our Ron Barker Hide Green Sandpipers, Kingfisher, Ruff, Wood Sandpiper, Gadwall,Teal, Buzzard, Little Egrets, Little Grebe and many Greylag Geese can be seen.
From Harrier Hide Teal, Greylag Geese, Wigeon, Gadwall, Shoveler, Tufted Ducks, Cormorant and Little Egret have been spotted.
Other areas have Cattle egret, Green Sandpiper, Yellow Wagtail, Great White Egret and Teal.
