On the Mere in the last couple of days over 60 Lapwings, Black-tailed Godwit, Ruff, Shoveler, Gadwall, Pink-footed Geese, Green Sandpiper, Teal, Grey Heron, Wigeon, Great White Egret and Cattle Egret have been seen.
At our Ron Barker Hide there have been sightings of Kingfisher, Teal, Shoveler, Black-tailed Godwit, Green Sandpiper and Wood Sandpiper, Marsh Harrier and Grey heron.
Other sightings around the reserve are Swallows and Sand Martins, large numbers of Greylag and Canada Geese, Great Crested Grebe and Little Grebe, Wigeon, Teal and Gadwall.
