A pleasant summers day and the return of the first 'autumn' Ruff, a male, just starting to moult out of it's breeding plumage. It was a little distant on Sunley's Marsh feeding with Black-tailed Godwit and Avocet.

The first Little Egret for a couple of weeks associating with Grey Heron in front of the Harrier Hide. Still two Great-crested Grebe there and breeding Little Grebes.

Common Tern still with chicks ~15 days to go..
