Egrets have been showing very well this week with several little egrets seen throughout the reserve, often congregating on the public footpath leading to the centre. A great white egret is also seen infrequently on the reedbed.
Listen out for the short bursts of song from cetti's warblers and a pig-like squealing call from water rails while on the reedbed.
