Little Stint
The adult summer Little Stint is still present and showing well from the Ron Barker hide on the left hand pool Vinson's, at times relatively close with up to 5 Dunlin. Also from here at least 40 Snipe, 350+ Black-tailed Godwit, Green Sandpiper, 20+ Ruff and 1 Redshank.
Also at least 3 Kingfisher showing well at times from Ron Barker along with at least 2 summering Whooper Swan.
Up to 2 different Hobbies were seen today from UU Hide and Ron Barker hunting Dragonflies. At least 2 Marsh Harrier (juv and 2nd cal year), Sparrowahwk, several Kestrel and several Buzzard.
A few Yellow Wagtail were seen from Ron Barker with at least 2 birds maybe more.
