The Beast!
Another good day on site with lots of Pink-Footed Geese and c350 Whooper Swan in the area, lots of Wigeon, Teal and Pintail. The Water Rail has been showing on and off from Ron Barker again along with 2 Kingfishers. Still at least 4 Marsh Harriers seen today, also Ad male Peregrine, sev Common Buzzard, Kestrel and the juvenile male Sparrowhawk has been spending more time sat on the feeding station from Janet Kear again, giving great views!
A single Dunlin (which was reported as a Curlew Sandpiper earlier) was from Ron Barker with good numbers of Ruff and Lapwing.
At least 3 Grey Wagtail and 3 Stonechat on site today.
