Waders
Few reports recieved today but a Little Stint was again seen from Ron Barker Hide along with 3 Dunlin and c800 Black-tailed Godwit and good numbers of Snipe and a few Ruff.
An adult Hobby was seen from UU Hide late morning along with a juv Marsh Harrier.
Swallow, Sand Martin and House Martin were over the Mere with at least 2 Swifts seen.
In the next few weeks the first family groups of Pink-footed Geese could arrive with favourable winds, early arrivals have been around the 24th August in the past with September being the more usual first arrivals.
