Yellow Wagtail
One or two juvenile Yellow Wagtail were seen from Ron Barker Hide today, also the usual Kingfisher on and off. Other sightings from here included Green and Common Sandpiper, 32 Ruff inc many juveniles, 2 juv Little Ringed Plover, 1 Dunlin and 300+ Lapwing.
A juvenile Mediterranean Gull was on the Mere late afternoon.
At least 1 Marsh Harrier, several Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.
Up to 10 species of Butterfly and at least 8+ species of Dragonfly & Damselfly can be seen around the reserve at the moment as well as much much more.
