Yellow Wagtail & Ruff
Two Yellow Wagtail continue to be seen from UU Hide out on Woodend Marsh, also 2 Ruff and a Black tailed Godwit were seen today. A Common Tern was briefly on view from Ron Barker along with a Mediterranean Gull (2nd sum/3rd cal yr), a different bird to yesterdays 1st sum/2nd cal yr bird.
A female Marsh Harrier was seen, the first in a few days, also 2+ Common Buzzard and Kestrel were the only raptors reported today.
A male Common Whitethroat was singing by the UU hide and male Blackcaps were singing in the grounds.
A pair of Raven were again seen.
