Scott House Museum Tours
- Admission to WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre is not included in your event ticket but must be booked to attend this event - this applies to both members and non-members.
- As a charity we can only issue refunds in exceptional circumstances. This does not include inclement weather. Applications for refunds must be received 48 hours before the day of the ticket. For example, if you have a ticket for Saturday, we would need to receive your refund application before midnight on Wednesday. Please send refund applications or booking change requests to tickets@wwt.org.uk.
- Please arrive around 10 minutes before the start of your event (unless otherwise stated on the event page). In some instances late arrival may result in the loss of a place. If you’re able to contact us to let us know that you will be late, please do so, so that we can do our best to accommodate you.
- Tours will last approximately 45 minutes.
- Both visitors and guides will be required to wear a face covering while in Scott House, unless medically exempt.
- You may be asked to remove or cover unsuitable or muddy footwear to protect the house from damage.
- Due to its domestic nature, the house has different flooring surfaces and small rooms, so please be aware of your surroundings.
- Large bags or camera equipment cannot be taken with you on the tour. If you have any large bags or camera equipment, you will be asked to leave them in the cloakroom at the entrance to the museum. Items are left at your own risk and WWT accepts no responsibility for these items.
- No food or drink is to be consumed within the museum.
- No photography is allowed within the museum.
- Pushchairs cannot be taken around the museum, but a hip seat is available to borrow to help carry babies or small children.
- The museum is accessible to standard manual wheelchairs but unfortunately cannot accommodate mobility scooters. These can be left outside the house.
- WWT Slimbridge reserves the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including low numbers or inclement weather etc. In these instances we would contact you at the earliest opportunity and you would be offered the choice of a space on an equivalent event (where available) or a full refund.
