Come and find out how amazing a trip to Slimbridge can be by joining us on one of our Uniform group Wetland Explorer days!
Wetland Explorer Days are bookable on select weekends throughout the year. The day starts at 9.30am, please see specific event dates for the suggested finish times.
On each event you’ll have a choice from 2 activity options in the morning and 2 in the afternoon led by our learning team, which have been planned to help your group work towards a wide range of badges.
You’ll also have plenty of time to explore the grounds and centre alongside our other visitors, including a host of exciting exhibits. There’s so much to do you may have trouble packing it into one visit! You could visit the Arctic tundra and Hawaii, learn about our otter Tilly at her feed, meet our wonderful amphibians, feed the birds (additional cost involved), take part in an eco-audit of Slimbridge or play in our adventure playground.
Each day is charged at £10 per child, with adults free at a ratio of 1:5. Minimum group size of 10. Places must be booked in advance.
