WWT Slimbridge has some fantastic new opportunities for uniform groups, from brownies and guides to beavers and scouts.

Join us for a wetland explorer day as part of achieving your ‘naturalist’, ‘wildlife explorer’ or ‘roundabout’ badge. Discover and identify a variety of wetland plants and animals up close, plus get hands on and crafty with natural materials.

Or try our Endangered wetlands programme teaching you more about WWT and the conservation work we do through hands on animal experiences. Enjoy investigating endangered wetland animals and considering how you can make a difference too. This programme is created to help achieve ‘friends to animals’ or ‘animal carers’ badge.

Each day is charged at £7.50 per child and led by our expert staff. Your group will get two hours with our education officers exploring wetlands and wildlife. Both days available also include a natural craft to take home with you. Adults are free at a ratio of 1:5. Minimum group size of 10.

Both programmes run from between 9:30am - 10am (arrival) to 2pm, allowing you time afterwards to explore the grounds and centre.

Please call 01453 891116 or email education.slimbridge@wwt.org.uk for more information on the days or to pre-book your groups day out.
