Artist Summary:
Caroline Tatham Art is run by a dynamic mother-daughter duo: Caroline and Emma. Caroline is an artist, garden designer and qualified lecturer; she creates the art, and Emma manages the marketing and social media, as well as photography and videography. They live in Gloucestershire, just down the road from Slimbridge, where Caroline has designed and created a magical 9-acre garden full of birds and flowers.
Caroline is passionate about observing nature to create British bird art in fanciful, naïve, and imaginative scenes. Her original artworks are made up of watercolour and mixed media. She studied at the Royal College of Art and has taught at a range of art colleges and art schools, including Central Saint Martins School of Art in London.
The family team have spent many happy memories at WWT Slimbridge, with Emma practically growing up in the inspiring wetland centre. They’re honoured to be working with WWT Slimbridge, coming full circle.
Caroline and Emma are thrilled to have their artwork on permanent display in the beautiful WWT Slimbridge shepherds' huts. Recent commissions include Country Life, where Caroline’s art featured on the magazine front cover, as well as an exciting collaboration with Woodmansterne Publications for 2026.
