Head to our festival hub in the Visitor Centre to find out what’s on during your visit and mark the start of your great adventure. Wetlands and our wellbeing are closely interconnected. Relax, get inspired and enjoy some time out this summer with our Wellbeing Weekend.
Even the most energetic dragonfly needs to pause and rest its wings sometimes. So why not take a moment to soak up the peace and tranquillity of wetlands - get to know a tree, meander out on a mindful nature walk, enjoy a head, neck, shoulder or foot massage, or take part in a family yoga session.
- Family Yoga, take part in a family friendly yoga class in our wetlands, next to our beautiful new Estuary Shoreline Garden. Running both days at 11.00-11.30am or 2.30-3pm, in the Estuary Shoreline Garden. Free with admission, drop in sessions.
- Adult Yoga sessions finishing with sound healing, experience the wetlands out of hours with an early morning or evening adult yoga session, next to the peaceful surroundings of our Estuary Shoreline Garden. Saturday 2 August at 5.45pm-7pm or Sunday 3 August at 8-9.15am. Cost: £12.50 per person (yoga class only, if you're not a WWT member and would like to enjoy the centre after or before the session please book admission separately, or on the day).
- Head, neck, shoulder or foot massage, Saturday 2 August from 12 noon - 2.30pm & Sunday 3 August from 9.30 - 11am and 12noon - 2.30pm, in the Estuary Shoreline Garden. £22 per person for a half an hour massage. Turn up and pay on the day.
- Sound Meditation, running both days at 11.30am - 12 noon. Free, drop in and join in.
- Sensory Mindfulness Walk, running both days at 3.30pm in the Estuary Shoreline Garden. Free, meet in admissions.
