Holden Tower and Hides A good high tide this morning pushed all the waders and wildfowl up onto the fileds Whitefronted Goose 90 and Pinkfoot 1 Feeding one field north of the Tack Piece. movements back in front of the hides just after mid day most days. B

Over 10,000 waders in the sun !

Kingfisher Hide Bittern-showing again this morning in the reeds and bulrushes near to the hide. The bird was c 10ft beyond the post and rail fence on the right hand side (West) of the channel. It seems to favour this area to hunt fish patiently, often mot
