Rushy Hide/Peng Observatory
Pair of Cranes with two newly hatched chicks, pair of Little-ringed Plover with two small chicks, Avocets with young as well as nesting birds (36 adults), female Wigeon with Chiloe Wigeon hybrid drake, single drake Shoveler.

South Lake
A pair of Little-ringed Plover (male displaying), three 2cy Mediterranean Gulls, the 2cy Little Gull in the afternoon, 105 Black-headed Gulls, 3 Great Crested Grebe, broods of 3 and 4 Avocet (52 adults), 70 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 pairs of Oystercatcher each with three young, 15 Shelduck and a pair of nesting Cranes.

A Sandwich Tern downriver, an adult breeding plumage Little Stint, at least 222 Ringed Pover, 38 Sanderling and 420 Dunlin on the mudflats with 21 Grey Plover, a Harbour Seal close in at high tide + 16 Curlew and a Bar-tailed Godwit,

New Cranes
Four unringed Cranes arrived over the reserve high from the East, they tried to join a breeding pair in the North of the reserve but were chased off, they've relocated to the the Top New Piece between Zeiss Hide and Estuary Tower

Tack Piece
Nine Avocet, 2 Golden Plover in the flash (wet field hollow), Lapwing, 20 Greylag, Egyptian Goose, 4 Barnacle Geese, Oystercatcher, pair of Gadwall, 3 drake and 2 female Tufted Duck, 5 Black-headed Gull.

Zeiss Hide/Top and Bottom New Piece
Green-winged Teal drake and three drake Garganey, a female Teal, 4 Avocet on the Bottom New Piece flood, 2 Spoonbill, 2 Little Egret, pair of Crane + 2 chicks, Great Crested Grebe, intersex plumage Teal, 8 Avocet on Top New Piece.
