Greenland White-front
A Greenland White-fronted Goose which spent a short while on top mere was the standout bird of the day, following on from the European White-fronted Goose that was present and photographed at the weekend.
The male Green-winged Teal was in Langleys Brook viewed from Ron Barker Hide also the female Goldeneye was still on the Mere.
Up to 3-4 Marsh Harrier were seen as well as a female Peregrine which spent a few hours on fenceposts by the Mere in the morning.
At least 3 Dunlin, 60+ Ruff and 30+ Black-tailed Godwit were counted around the reserve today.
Thousands of duck, 750+ Whooper Swan and a few thousand Pink-footed Goose were on the Mere this evening.
