Med Gulls, Green-winged Teal and more

More birds have left but new arrivals are in, read on for the latest sightings.

Late news for yesterday included the drake Green-winged Teal on Tack Piece and a 2cy Little Gull and Mediterranean Gull on South Lake

Tack Piece

At least 38 Sand Martins fed over the Tack Piece this morning also single Dunlin among the waders. Two Whooper (also in Rushy) and Bewick's Swan, Knot, 405 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Avocet, 7 Curlew, 15 Redshank, 3 Snipe, Spotted Redshank, 12 Pintail + flocks of Shoveler, Teal, Wigeon + singing Reed Bunting. 231 Russian White-fronted Geese with the Barnacle Goose, Ross's Goose with the Barnacle Goose flock.

South Lake from Discovery and Hogarth Hides

20 Avocet, adult breeding plumage Mediterranean Gull, pair Pochard on the Duck Marsh with 22 Shoveler.

Estuary Tower

A drake Green-winged Teal was still among the feeding birds on Tack Piece Five Golden Plover (50 more flew through), 4 Lapwing, 6 Redshank on the Dumbles. 33 Curlew and 23 Redshank on Tack Piece. A 2cy Yellow-legged Gull was with 7 GBB Gulls over high tide.

Entrance Fields

Three Mediterranean Gull- two breeding plumage adults and a 3cy with partial hood early morning.
