More signs of return wader passage, 5 adult Dunlin and 3 very fine male Ruff all in full summer plumage were here, Three Redshank scattered around looked like breeding birds and 102 Lapwing were the bulk of the post breeding flock. Over 100 Teal, 4 Black Tailed Godwits were also seen. My highlights were good views of a female Yellow Wagtail and a very bright Linnet among the cattle and lots of Sedge and Reed Warbler activity in the reeds close to the hide.
