Listen to BBC Radio 3 at WWT Martin Mere
BBC Radio 3 will broadcast live from WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre on 1 December. As dawn breaks, Kantos Chamber Choir will be live in our Discovery Hide bringing festive cheer with carols both traditional and new.
Presenter Tom McKinney will be taking the audience on a wildlife adventure in sound. Listen to his canoe journey through the waterways, and as the sun rises, we will hear the sound of thousands of birds as they wake up, spread their wings, and take to the skies.
This will be a closed session before the centre opens, beginning at 6:30am, therefore there will be no in-person audience, but you can listen live by tuning into BBC Radio 3 or by smart speakers by saying “Ask BBC Sounds to play Breakfast”.
