Martin Mere calls all witches and wizards for a magical October half term

Families are invited to step into a ‘Super Natural’ adventure at WWT Martin Mere this October half-term.
From 25 October until 2 November, families can weave a little magic into their day by designing a willow wand to cast spells, finding ingredients to mix magical potions, and discovering what an owl has had for lunch as part of owl pellet dissecting.
Situated in the centre’s popular Viking Village, ‘Mere Tun’, it is being transformed into a Witches Wetland for one week only.
For Halloween fans, there will also be pumpkin carving until 30 October, Halloween fancy dress on the 31 October, and Canoe Safari re-imagined as Canoe ‘Scarefari’.
Victoria Fellowes at WWT Martin Mere said: “Our half-term activities always offer lots of fun and interest and the ‘Super Natural’ event is no different. There’ll be plenty to learn and laugh about, so grab your kids’ wellies and come for a visit.”
Non-members booking online can take advantage of a 10% reduction off the price of admission.
