Guided Walks
Join one of our knowledgeable team for a mid-week guided walk to learn more about the breathtaking wildlife that joins us over the autumn and winter, included in your admission or WWT membership.
Our wetlands are bursting with activity as we enter the colder season. One of the best times to visit to see our mere full of life, we’re joined by thousands of migratory birds such as the pink-footed goose, shelduck, wigeon, and black-tailed godwit.
Learn more about the history of the WWT Martin Mere site and the amazing migratory journey some of the birds make to spend the colder months with us right here in West Lancashire.
Dates: Monday to Friday, 7 September - 16 October at 12pm (the walk will not take place in bad weather)
