Bittern 'booming' or at least practicing early afternoon on the Reed Bed Walk.
Six Curlew on the back of the Mere late morming and two Ringed Plover before the later flew towards Woodend Marsh.
Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, 4+ Buzzard, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
Brimstone and Peacock butterfluies on the Reed Bed Walk, also Toad calling.
