An adult winter plumage Mediterranean Gull was present on the Mere this morning with Black-headed Gulls.
A big count of Ruff with 73 birds, in fact its the highest for a couple of years. Green Sandpiper again from the Ron Barker Hide at the back of Vinson's Marsh. Also a couple of Dunlin and Black-tailed Godwit.
Another good day for raptors with 4 Marsh Harrier again flushing Common Teal. The 'usual' Common Buzzards, a Peregrine, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk. A Raven was also seen again today.
