A stint sp. (species) was seen distantly with 7 Dunlin from the United Utilities Hide early afternoon. Probability says it's a Little Stint. Again 50+ Avocet, 40+ Black-tailed Godwit and a count of 117 Ruff (on the 9th) was the biggest of the winter.
An adult Greenland White-fronted Goose was found late afternoon from the UU Hide hanging around with a few Canada Geese. Just off the reserve this morning a Tundra Bean Goose was with ~ 800 Pink-footed Geese.
A Stonechat was reported from the Ron Barker Hide.
Raptors included 3 Marsh Harrier, 5 Common Buzzard, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
A noticeable passage of Common and Herring Gulls through the reserve today.
