Calling all adventurers! Come and check out our new zipline in the Riverlife play area.
The zipline has been launched to coincide with this summer’s Dragonfly Festival so you can fly like a dragonfly!
Experience a safe adrenaline rush as you step off the platform and launch yourself along the wire—boosting mood and self-esteem along the way.
Afterwards why not continue your adventure on our canoe safari? Glide through the reeds to spot wildlife such as herons, kingfishers and water voles. Or step into our Wild Play area in the Spinney Woods and create a den in a cool shady spot amongst the trees

What is the Dragonfly Festival?
The Dragonfly Festival runs from 18 July – 3 September. You can find more information here.
Is there a charge for the zipline?
This activity is included in admission ticket or free for WWT members.
What age is the zipline suitable for?
The zipline was designed for primary school age children with sufficient physical ability to hold the handle and sit safely throughout the ride.
Is there a toilet nearby?
Yes, there are toilets by the Canoe Kiosk
Is there anywhere nearby to fill up my water bottle?
Staff at our Canoe Safari or Canoe Kiosk will be happy to fill up your water bottle for you.
