New American waders?
Holden Tower A Pectoral Sandpiper flew in high from the NE (Tack Piece) and dissapeared on the saltmarsh. About ten minutes later two waders flew to one of the pools on the Dumbles and joined the Lapwing. It turned out to be the Pectoral and a Buff-breast

Overnight flooding The heavy rain all day yesterday and overnight to this morning has created a lot of field flooding. The birds have all left the scrapes this morning to take advantage of the newly flooded areas to feed. There is little to no exposed mud

Sightings and guided walk details for rare waders
Guided walk to search for Buff-breasted and Pectoral Sandpiper Meet in/around the Holden Tower at 1300hrs. It is a half a mile walk there and back, uneven ground and no guarantee of seeing either but worth a try. They showed very well together yesterday
