Buff-breasted Sandpiper still present

Buff Breasted Sandpiper No Sign yet this morning and was seen only fleetingly Yesterday. A walk will leave from the Holden Tower at 11.00 today for another search. South Lake Water levels low here giving great close up views of Godwits, Dowitcher and Teal

Today's sightings-Trio of transatlantic waders
North American vagrant waders Buff-breasted Sandpiper-showed in flight at 0800, again at high tide around 1000 and re-appeared at 1105. Showed well to warden led group until midday at least. We cannot have general access as it leads to too much disturbanc

Another American bird arrives

Zeiss Hide The Snipe flock that have been here since late July were very active and showy today. At least 80 were along the south edge of the scrape. Long-billed Dowitcher is still present but moved back to South Lake. At least 200 Black-tailed Godwit are
