Families are being encouraged to make the most of the summer holidays with a last chance to experience Dragonfly Festival at WWT Martin Mere.
See our handy schedule below to your final weeks of our summer Dragonfly Festival.
Running until 31 August, Dragonfly Festival celebrates the wonder of wetlands with a host of performances, activities and family fun – all inspired by one of nature's most beautiful insects.
Families have plenty to look forward to in the festival's final weeks, with highlights including dragonfly spotting walks with a guide, and circus skill drop-in sessions led by Andy Jester from Usefool Event Entertainment.
During the August bank holiday weekend (29, 30, 31 August), families can join Andy Jester to test their balancing skills just like a dragonfly with plate spinning balancing as well as juggling and diablo.
Visitors can also uncover a kaleidoscope of minibeasts during pond dipping sessions, compete against each other with giant outdoor games such as hoopla and bean toss, and discover the secret lives of dragonflies by picking up a spotter sheet and searching high and low for the different species that call Martin Mere home.
