Summer Code Breakers

Join us from 20 July until 1 September for WWT Martin Mere's brand new Summer Code Breakers event. Find 18 clues hidden amongst the flamingos, otters, and more. Can you crack the code? Find out more.

Mere Tun (Viking Village)

Travel back in time to our medieval Viking village every Monday and Tuesday during the summer holidays. Engage in activities like willow weaving, felting, and weapons training. Discover recipes made with wetland ingredients and explore the new longhouse to see how a village chief would have lived. Find out more.

Moth Trapping

Visit the Discovery Hide daily at 10:30 am to see the fascinating moth species that inhabit WWT Martin Mere. From the vibrant elephant hawk-moth to the elegant white ermine, discover amazing species. Find out more.

Pond Dipping

Join us at the Pond Zone from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm for free pond dipping sessions. Use nets and trays to get a closer look at what creatures live within our waters. Find out more.
