Late news for yesterday- 2 Glossy Ibis again roosted on South Lake- 4.40pm to dark. Not present at 0740 today, already left the roost. 57 Black-tailed Godwit were present early before moving out to the reserve. Zeiss Hide Little Stint 3 Curlew Sandpiper 1

Glossy Ibis and Siberian Chiffchaff
Glossy Ibis GLOSSY IBIS 2 juveniles on the Rushy late afternoon them flew towards the South lake. They then showed very well from Hogarth Hide where they were seen to go to roost. Holden Walkway SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF 1 present agian and was heard singing

Holden Tower The Great Skua (Bonxie) was seen high over the estuary and flying very close low past the tower heading inland at 0830 and 0900. E White-fronted Geese 20 flew in from N and settled on the scrape for the rest of the day. Dark-bellied Brent Goo

Todays Sightings
Holden Tower High Tide at 07.00 this morning but relatively few waders around. Some 200 Dunlin, one Grey Plover and a scattering of Redshank and Curlew. There was a big search for the Bonxie which appeared as the tide dropped towards the north of the hide

Today's Sightings
Holden Tower The Bonxie is still around, some what distantly on the estuary eating a gull with a flock of Crows in attendance. The Whitefront flock (19) were here but moved out onto the estuary and a large female Peregrine was on the edge of the Dumbles
