Dunlin increase
Top New Piece from Zeiss Hide Dunlin numbers have increased dramatically in the last couple of days, lots of juveniles are present with the moulting adults, the flock displays a variety of sizes, bill lengths and stage of moult making interesting viewing

We have some sad news- the Crane chick belonging to Bart and Ruby has not been seen since 25 July, a thorough search over the weekend revealed that Bart and Ruby were roaming the reserve and even displaying to each other, they wouldn't leave their chick

Cattle Egret again

Today's sightings
High tide around lunchtime produced an adult Kittiwake floating down river between the Dumbles shoreline and the island. An adult Sanderling stopped off briefly before carrying on down river with a small flock of Dunlin and over 100 Curlew were roosting
