Another Caspian Gull candidate

Caspian Gull
A second calendar year Caspian Gull graced the South Lake early afternoon, it arrived with over fifty second calendar year Herring Gulls, it favoured the causeway and rail/fences but also flew off toward the fields. A good find by I.Stewart. Image by MJMc

First Sedge Warblers of the year
At least two Sedge Warbler were signing this morning, one male could be heard from the Knott Hide, the other below the Zeiss Hide. Both birds kept low in the cool breeze, as the day warms we may hear more or add Reed Warbler to this years list of species
