Grab a paddle and spot wildlife from the water on our 1KM Canoe Safari trail. Daily 11am - 4pm (weather permitting).
Explore the wider and wilder side of Slimbridge on a 4x4 Wild Safari - look for dragonflies, butterflies, birds and maybe even snakes! Daily at 11.30am & 2pm (weather permitting).
Dip for creatures in our pond zone and learn all about the wildlife that lurks beneath the surface! Daily 2-3pm at the Pond Zone.
Learn more about eggcellent eggs and the wonders of wildlife at our Family Science Talks in the Living Wetland Theatre, daily at 11am.
Wetland Heroes app
Try out our family friendly app, Wetland Heroes and discover the full extent of Slimbridge this May Half Term. Experience Slimbridge like never before by going on fact finding missions and taking on fun challenges suitable for the whole family. Tried it before? Don't forget there's new packs to explore each season! Find out more.
Meet the world's rarest goose in the Hawaiian landscape of Mission Possible and look out for the nene goslings! Make sure to explore the duckery and you may even meet some ducklings.
Wonders of Wetlands
Watch birds fly overhead in our new Living Wetland Theatre, including the famous Sprout the pelican, Nzuri the crowned crane and other feathery friends. Daily at 12.30pm & 2.30pm.
Head to the Rain Garden to test out our exciting iSandbox. The iSandbox uses augmented reality to take a traditional sandpit to magical new proportions! Stimulate the senses with our Wetlands Interactive Sandbox and see what landscapes you can create. Head to the Rain Garden for daily sessions throughout Half Term at 2-3pm. Make oceans swirl, lava flow and grass grow!
Arts and crafts
Get arty this Half Term in the new Art Hub - formerly known at the Classroom (through Toad Hall). Get your craft on daily at 11am - 12.30pm.
