There will be multiple races on the day at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm for a chance to win fantastic prizes. Our craft room will be open from 1 - 4pm on weekends to buy and colour in your rubber duck, and also from 10am on the day of the races for those that haven’t had the chance to visit before the day.

Nick Brooks, Centre Manager at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre said: “We are delighted that the duck race is taking place at Martin Mere once again this year, last year was an incredible event for the centre and we hope that this year will be even better.”

He added: “Our last race saw around 500 ducks taking part with a great variety of colours and designs on show. We can’t wait to see who will be the winners this year!”.

As well as the duck race, visitors can discover underwater creatures during the pond dipping sessions from 1:30 - 3pm, or head to the award-winning canoe safari for an adventure around the wetlands. Find out more about our events via our 'what's on' page.
